Denton Earns Second Team All-American Honors

Izzy Denton becomes the third GC Volleyball player in the Volleyball program's history to earn Second Team All-American honors. She is the second volleyball player to be selected as an All-American during Coach Allen's coaching career at Gulf Coast State.
Denton finished her Sophomore season with 104 assists, 31 service aces, and 417 digs. She accumulated 25 or more digs during three matches during the 2023 season (8/18 vs. #3 Parkland (27 digs), 8/19 vs. #2 Grand Rapids (28 digs), and 11/16 vs. #5 Iowa Central (25 digs).
During the 2023 NJCAA DII Volleyball National Championship, Denton served an impressive 9 service aces during Gulf Coast State's win over #19 Harford on November 16th.
