Bio

Coach Bailey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Assistant Coach of the Commodore Baseball Program for his third season. Tasked with coaching the infielders and contributing to strength conditioning, Bailey is dedicated to the development and success of the team.

Before joining the Commodores, Bailey served as an Assistant Coach at Mosley High School, where he played a pivotal role in the team's remarkable achievements, including clinching the 2021 5A State Championship title and reaching the Final Four three times in the previous four seasons. His coaching journey also includes a stint as an Assistant Coach at Buchholz High School, further solidifying his commitment to cultivating winning teams.

Bailey's own journey in baseball began as a standout infielder, earning a college scholarship to play for the Chipola College Baseball Team. He honed his skills during his high school career, lettering at both Liberty County High School and Marianna High School.

After his collegiate baseball career, Bailey pursued higher education at the University of Florida, where he earned his B.S. degree in Health Science in 2012. Continuing his academic pursuits, he completed his Doctorate program in Physical Therapy at the University of Florida in 2015, showcasing his dedication to both his profession and his passion for sports.

Beyond the baseball diamond, Bailey contributes to the community as a Physical Therapist with Tendertouch Home Health Care Agency, providing essential care to those in need.

Off the field, Bailey finds joy and fulfillment in family life, sharing his journey with his wife, Taylor, and their daughter, Chloe.
