2023 Panama City Beach College Baseball Classic Championship Game

During the first game of Saturday, the Commodores defeated Meridian CC 9-5. Christian Oppor surrendered zero runs on one hit over five innings, striking out nine and walking zero. Coleman Rowan and RJ Johnson each collected two hits, and Johnson led the Commodores in stolen bases with four. Landon Russell and Cade Parker stole two bases during the game.
During their 5:30pm game on Saturday, the Commodores defeated Florence-Darlington 6-2 to earn a spot in the Championship game where they will face Wallace-Dothan on Field 2 at the Publix Sports Park. In the bottom of the fifth, Cade Parker hit a home run on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs. Landon Russell earned the victory on the mound for GCSC. Russell allowed two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking zero.
