Bio

Jackson Richert is entering his second year as the Athletics Operations Specialist. Originally from Western New York, he moved to Panama City in July 2023 to accept his offer with the Gulf Coast State Commodores.

Jackson graduated from Niagara University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a minor in Communications & Media Studies. While at Niagara, he was a Student Assistant for the Athletics Communications office, helping out with game day operations and broadcasting for the Purple Eagles for three years.

He also has experience helping out with game day operations at several large-scale sporting events including the opening round of the NCAA March Madness Tournament in Buffalo, NY and Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, AZ.

During his time at Niagara University, Jackson played indoor volleyball, filling whatever position was needed (except setter). He continues to carry-on his passion for the sport by constantly playing on the beach and serving as the voice of the Lady Commodores for all their home games.
