Aguilera earns Second Team All-America honors from AVCA

Congratulations Danna Aguilera on a well deserved recognition!
The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced their 2024 All-America teams for Two-Year College women's volleyball, chosen by the Two-Year College Volleyball All-America Selection Committee.
Gulf Coast State College's Danna Aguilera was selected to the 2024 Second Team ACVA All-America list, becoming the first player ever for the Gulf Coast State College Volleyball program to earn this prestigious award.

- Earned 2024 NJCAA DII Volleyball First Team All-American.
- Selected to the 2024 NJCAA DII Volleyball Championship All-Tournament Team.
- Led the team in kills with 391 (3.55 kills per set), 436.5 total points, and 32 service aces.
- Accumulated 399 digs, and finished her Freshman season with a .242 hitting percentage.
Named FCSAA DII Offensive Player of the Week and earned the 2024 Dulcie "Cookie" Stevens Award for FCSAA DII Player of the Year.
Earned FCSAA DII All-Tournament Team, DII All-FCSAA/All-NJCAA Region 8, awarded First-Team honors for the All-Sun-Lakes Conference, and was named Conference Player of the year.
