Aguilera named Dulcie "Cookie" Stevens Award FCSAA DII Player of the Year

FCSAA- Gulf Coast State College's Danna Aguilera, who received the Dulcie "Cookie" Stevens Award, presented to the FCSAA Division II Player of the Year.

Aguilera, a freshman from Kissimmee, Fla., has led Gulf Coast State to a 22-4 record (14-0 in Sun-Lakes Conference play) and No. 5 national ranking.

She is currently averaging 3.6 kills and 3.3 digs per set while posting a .265 hitting percentage.

She was named FCSAA Division II Offensive Player of the Week on October 8.

The FCSAA Player of the Year is voted on by the FCSAA's Division II Volleyball Coaches.
