Brittany Crowson enters her second season as Assistant Coach of the Lady Commodores Softball program.

Before joining the Lady Commodores, Crowson was a 5th-year year graduate pitcher at the University of Montevallo. Crowson had an 8-8 record with 34 appearances. She was awarded the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, while working towards her Masters in Exercise Science and plans to graduate in December. During her time there, she was a strength and conditioning graduate assistant. 

Crowson spent her junior and senior seasons at Newberry College going 7-6 over 23 appearances while obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Health Science.

Crowson started her college pitching career at Gulf Coast State College in the spring of 2019, recording a 10-4 record with 26 appearances and a career-low of 2.07 ERA. She earned All-Panhandle Conference Team and Florida College Systems Activities Association All-Academic Team. Her 2020 sophomore season was cut short due to COVID-19, but not before obtaining an 8-4 record over 20 appearances. 

Coach Crowson is from Bentonville, Arkansas where she attended Bentonville High School and Bentonville West High School. She was a member of the 7A State Softball Championship and State Runner-Up teams. She was also named to the 7A West All-Conference Team.
