Claytor named FCSAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Truman Claytor had an amazing week on the basketball court, helping the Commodores win two big games! He averaged 22.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 0.5 steals, and 1.0 block in the two games.  Claytor was on fire, making 48.6% (17-of-35) of his shots from the field, 40% (6-of-15)of his three-pointers, and 62.5% (5-of-8) of his free throws. He led the team with back-to-back games scoring over 20 points.  During their game vs. Tallahassee State, Claytor scored 23 points with six assists. In their big win over #24 Northwest Florida State, he put up 22 points, grabbed four rebounds, and added three assists.

Both basketball teams are on the road this week, traveling to Pensacola State on Wednesday, Feb. 12th, with the Lady Commodores tipping off at 5:30pm, followed by the men's game at 7:30pm.
