Bio

Coach Tyler Borges is starting his first season as an Assistant Coach with the Gulf Coast (GC) Baseball team.

He played baseball at Gulf Coast from 2019 to 2021 and then at the University of South Alabama from 2022 to 2024, learning a lot from great coaches like Coach Younger and Coach Bailey. Coach Borges graduated from Leon High School, got an associate degree (AA) at Gulf Coast, and then earned his college degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at South Alabama.

He now works with the infielders, helps the hitters, and coaches third base. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, watching football and baseball, and spending time with his friends, family, and his girlfriend, Olivia.
