Baughcum Earns Player of the Week for NJCAA and FCSAA

Congratulations to GC Baseball Sophomore Third Baseman, Brant Baughcum who has earnd NJCAA and FCSAA Region 8 Player of the Week honors. Baughcum batted .692 (9-for-13) with nine runs scored, one double, one triple, four home runs and 14 RBI in three games.
He went 3-for-4, scored three runs and drove in two vs. Coastal Alabama Community College-North.
During their doubleheader vs. Andrew (Ga.) College, Baughcum went 4-for-5 in game one with three home runs (solo, 2 run HR, and 2 run HR) and seven RBI in the Commodores' 30-13 win. In game two, Baughcum hit a grand slam in the Top of the 5th and drove in five runs in the game two win.
