Commodores advance to FCSAA Region 8 Semifinals with big win

The Gulf Coast State College Commodores are moving on to the 2025 FCSAA Region 8 Semifinal game after a strong 74-63 victory over Florida SouthWestern State.
Truman Claytor had an outstanding game, leading the team with 30 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. He also went 11-14 from the free-throw line. Christian Harmon added 18 points, hitting 3 of 6 from three-point range and grabbing 4 steals. As a team, the Commodores shot 42.9% from the field, 37.5% from beyond the arc, and made 20 of 27 free-throws.
